When you call for an emergency appointment, our team will guide you through what to do before you arrive. We'll schedule a same-day or next-available visit whenever possible. A few common emergencies we handle:

• Knocked-Out Tooth - We'll reinsert and stabilize the tooth if possible. Or Dr. Kar will plan for a prosthetic replacement like an implant or bridge.
• Severe Toothache - Dr. Kar will stop the infection, with a solution like root canal therapy, to save your tooth.
• Broken or Lost Restoration - We replace or restore your broken or damaged restoration with precision.
• Chipped or Fractured Tooth - Depending on the severity, bonding or crowns can rebuild your smile.
• Gum Infections - If a gum infection is causing pain, Dr. Kar will treat the disease and restore your oral health.
• Extractions - We'll remove a tooth we cannot save, although it's always a last resort.

If your treatment needs multiple steps, we'll schedule follow-ups and make sure you're comfortable between visits. If a more complex procedure is needed, you can choose to receive general anesthesia from a licensed professional. Dr. Kar will also walk you through what to do to prevent future issues.
